I believe that people can’t make it in the world if they can’t dream or believe in fairytales. There comes a certain point in life when there’s no reason to live a life where there’s nothing worthy of it. That’s when movies or books inspire us and motivates us. Everyone dreams, but everyone also has obstacles that block us from our dreams. I turn to movies and books as an escape of reality and when I come back to real life, I feel motivated to finish what I need to get done. Without books or movies I don’t think I can make it through this hectic life of mines.

Do certain children's toys create social or emotional or other problems?

Should children be required to attend school past the age of sixteen?

Do "beauty" contests (Mr. America, Miss America, etc.) serve any purpose in society?
Little girls all over the world dream of being Miss. Universe or winning a beauty pageant. As a little girl, I knew I too dreamed of winning a beauty pageant but as I grew up my point of view changed. Will becoming Miss. U.S.A or Miss. Universe really benefit not only me but my society also? I realized that beauty pageants contained pretty girls from all over the world, who wear beautiful gowns and loads of make-up to make them look gorgeous. However how does that in anyway contribute to the world, other than showing off their sculpted bodies and beautiful faces, what is the purpose of beauty pageants anyway? Nothing really. Some may think otherwise but in my opinion beauty pageants are useless in our society today.
